Radon Action Roadmap
Not sure where to begin with radon measurement and mitigation?
Take a look at our Radon Action Roadmap!
This 4-step guide will help you understand how to create
a safer, healthier home for you and your family
01
Test your home
The only way to know whether or not your house has a radon problem is to perform a radon test
02
Decide if a radon mitigation system is right for you
The EPA recommends you take action to reduce your home’s radon levels if your radon test results are 4 pCi/L or higher. You may want to consider radon mitigation if levels are between 2-4 pCi/L.
03
Mitigate the problem, if necessary
The costs of installing a radon mitigation system are significantly less expensive than paying medical bills for lung cancer diagnosis and treatment.
04
Spread the word!
Radon is the leading cause of lung cancer among non-smokers in the United States. Lung cancer from radon is 100% preventable with home radon tests and mitigation systems. Spread the word about radon to help save lives!
